"LRAD" at Japanese Embassy in Washington DC (USA) by supporters of Sea Shepherd

On Pearl Harbor Day, the 7th of December, protesters showed up at the Japanese Embassy in solidarity with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Societys ships Steve Irwin and Ady Gill. The Steve Irwin departed from Australian to once again do battle with the illegal Japanese whaling fleet (The Ady Gill was scheduled to leave Dec 8).

Since the whalers tried to knock down the Sea Shepherd helicopter with an LRAD sound cannon last year and generally were a nuisance with it, protesters brought the sound of the LRAD back to the Japanese Embassy, played back through a powerful amplifier since their own LRAD project wasn't ready.
