01-12-2009 New Tang Dynasty Television, USA

The association Borneo Orangutang Survival is holding a special event in Stockholm. Former flight attendant Lone Drösher Nielsen has chosen to spend the last fifteen years of her life living under very primitive conditions in Indonesia to save the orangutangs from being completely wiped out.

Prize winning photographer Mathias Klum has been documenting Lone’s work and is dedicating an exhibition to her to help raise awareness.

Lone is also running the world’s biggest rehabilitation center for orangutangs. she says the fast growing palm industry is devastating the primate's natural habitat.

An auction is also being held to help support the survival of the orangutangs.
