Point Defiance Park, Tacoma, Washington. The local raccoons have come to expect that people driving through the park will feed them. For a longer list of all the reasons why feeding the wildlife is bad, see the following news article: http://www.tacomaweekly.com/article/3...
Every year there are stories about people feeding wild animals. There was some lady in Western Washington feeding bears like they were pets -- how could that possibly have been a good idea? Do you really want hungry bears coming around the house every day?
I'll admit that the raccoons are cute, but people should not feed them. Here's another link with more information (like about what mean little buggers raccoons can be): http://www.projectwildlife.org/living-raccoons.htm
