FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS DEER HUNTERS WILL BE OUT IN FORCE. SOME HUNT FOR SPORT, OR AS PART OF A FAMILY TRADITION THAT GOES BACK TO OKLAHOMA'S FIRST DEER SEASON IN THE 1930'S. OTHERS HUNT TO PUT FOOD ON THEIR TABLES, OR TO PROVIDE MEAT TO GROUPS THAT FEED THE HUNGRY. AS OETA'S CATHY TATOM REPORTS, NO MATTER WHY THEY HUNT, DEER SEASON IS BIG BUSINESS IN OKLAHOMA.
